There is nothing permanent about this. Trump and his supplicants have fully revealed who they are and what they believe. Their vision of foreign policy is a mirror image of their brutalism at home. But they don't get to change reality, what you believe, or what you choose to do about it.

I would venture to guess that "personal liberties" are for racists, homophobes, transphobes, misogynists rather than immigrants, trans folx, women, POC. And I assume that the "free market" emphasis will be more about removing all regulations than criticizing Trump's tariffs.

I think a lot of people are having second thoughts.
The Gaza situation was one of the few things that I thought Joe Biden managed very poorly. But we were all saying that Trump would be MUCH worse on Gaza than Biden was. Now we know.

We are seeing a government of the billionaires, by the billionaires, and for the billionaires. The top 0.1% have always had way too much influence, but this is ridiculous enough that even the general public is noticing. The working class Trump voters certainly aren't getting any benefit.
