I find the experience of looking at Pinterest or Instagram's 'for you' tab ruined by the question: 'is this AI generated?'

I don't want to look at fake photos of imaginary scenes sucked from an LLM. I don't want to look at 'art' that wasn't created by a person.

One of the things I like about Big Hero 6 is how they never really suggest that Baymax is 'alive', and yet the film invites you to treat it/him as though it/him is. It's this sort of weird open philosophical space that goes unaddressed. In a Disney film.
Humans are very susceptible to the ELIZA effect (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ELIZA_e...) and if you tell them they're deluding themselves, they get upset.

Solid dad moment this morning: as we watched Sadness turn the console in Inside Out blue I asked my four-year-old why Riley needed Sadness to help her. She asked me to tell her.

I have a graphic novel getting published next year, the story mode of a video game under my belt and multiple other projects in development. But every time I open my laptop to make something up, I have to exert a lot of watts of mental energy to convince myself I can, in fact, do it.
