Every filmmaker knows this paradox too well. Distributors, constantly, "we will give you $0 for your IP, no advance, and promise royalties you'll likely never get. But we LOVE your movie enough to sell it!"
Remember: Companies (and now *governments*) claim art is worth nothing... but they are desperate to steal it
