Shout out to all the local Pakistani and Chinese restaurants and their staff who will be working Christmas.

As the manager at Royal Kabob told me, "Brother, we're always open. Even on the Day of Judgement, we'll be open."

Respect.

Apparently citydwellers in the US are walking 15% faster than they did in 1980

some academics got video of four major intersections -- shot in 1979-80 and again in 2008-10

people walked faster; lingered less; more likely to be alone

Just finished Real Americans by Rachel Khong. As a 6th generation Chinese American who grew up in NY but worked in tech in SV most of my adult life, it resonated on so many levels… wealth, race, privilege, family, genetics, startups, China vs America, and more… great read!

Cute. Reminds me of those old Get a Mac ads with John Hodgman and Justin Long.
Peloton launched a copy of Ladder today. This is Ladder’s response.

Marketing done right.

It’s so nice to be at the stage of a lifetime of a platform when everyone mostly agrees the people running it are working hard and doing a good job. Let’s enjoy that while we can!

Drake just signed a legal document acknowledging "Not Like Us" did him great harm.

Is this not the biggest defeat in hip-hop history?
