I'm never on here but I'm curious who is not to make more a platform on here but when racism and erasure come cracking down in more spaces what the people on here are gonna do? Dig underground? Find another app to migrate to? Racism lives cause people give it power and give it more spaces to be free

The reason natives aren't at the grammy's is cause the grammy's as a whole are performative and no self loving community first native does shit for performance. We need to stop seeking our place in these empty meaning colonizing capitalist events and recognize them for what they are.
The reason why Natives aren’t at the Grammys is the same reason why Natives aren’t in other media. Gatekeeping and exclusion. In America the only acceptable Native is one who is regulated to the past. And while film opens the door a crack to do period pieces. Mainstream music doesn’t.

Forever mystified by Overwatch content creators and the sheer depth of their ignorance. How can someone look at Katara from ATLA and Mercy from Overwatch and think a white woman should be Katara in any capacity and then double down and dumb it down to "I like these characters don't @ me guys shrug"
