I’ll be back at Council when this comes up for a vote again.

Every election expert I’ve spoken to—including Dr. Essex, just yesterday—has made it clear: this form of online voting is not secure.

Vote-by-mail is accessible, auditable, and safe.

Independent cybersecurity experts published reports saying it's insecure, eg Professor Holly Garnett of Queen's U. and Professor Aleksander Essex of Western U. I've posted their reports and those of other experts. Pls read them.

Every independent cybersecurity expert says that online voting is insecure and hackable. Even the CEO of Neuvote, the company that ran the Ward 4 byelection online voting, said at a public meeting that such concerns are "very, very valid." The integrity and legitimacy of local democracy is at risk.
