Thinking on his passing last week...my favourite Timothy West role was as Dr Rance in Joe Orton's What The Butler Saw.

It’s become a bit of a cliche to compare Starmer to Attlee but reading John Bew’s excellent biography it’s hard not to see how similar their qualities and characteristics.

We keep getting told by farmers that the reduction in IHT relief they get is “the last straw.” Has anyone heard from a farmer what the other straws were?

I have a tenth share in Livin On Luco with Philip Hobbs. Won first time out at Newton Abbot and entered for Exeter on Sunday. It can’t rain enough this week!
