Yes, we all know he gave up actual leverage for promises made by somebody who goes out of their way too brag about being adversarial to his constituents best interests. And it’s not even like this person treats their friends very well, let alone their adversaries.

I’m sure they do, but is it really over? I have multiple people in my family whom I’ve already lost their jobs because of this foolishness. They weren’t deadweight.
They just weren’t respected by a party that doesn’t respect public service.
What about this deal changes any of that contempt?

I’ve defended Dems to my children and people who are my children’s age for so long, and I 100% will not have the stomach to do it after this. Such an embarrassment.

I spent 33 years in dc and now live in a very rural and red VA county. The kind where people resented federal intervention and actually prepped for invasion by jack booted thugs and black helicopters. I marvel at the hypocrisy.

I totally agree with what you say, in the whole, but when you say, it will be the biggest ever, please consider that a manufactured crime panic already has troops in major US cities. For the people living in those cities, the “biggest ever“ has already happened.
