This sets a very dangerous precedent for scientists.
Michael Eisen made a very rational and balanced series of posts on the Hamas attacks and Israel’s response.
I see nothing that warrants him being replaced as Editor in Chief of #eLife.
We, as scientists, should not be afraid to speak out.
