Fair to say that Boyd still needs to learn how to play under control consistently?
Sometimes the football program takes a bit of a backseat to what is being done in the Athletics Dep't yet we hear little of that here. For example, where are we with the new indoor practice facility (the AD tied that project directly to the hiring of Luke Fickell at the time)?

The recruits and transfers they are landing this spring feel less impressive than those landed in the past couple of years. Is that just an overreaction on my part (given what we've seen on the field), or is it actually a result of those diminished results and high rates of staff turnover?

Seems a bit late or is it? Hopefully they've "blitzed" earlier as well.

Unbelievable! Badgers may have the easiest path of the top 3 at this point. Still, everyone is playing well at this point in the season and there is that trip to East Lansing still to come.

This is a key loss for Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin football program, unlike the already high staff turnovers we have seen. If there has been a single bright spot in the mess that is Wisconsin Football under Fickell, it has been recruiting and that has been largely down to Max.

I was impressed with this man's press conference yesterday: polished in front of an albeit friendly media, thoughtful yet careful answers, just about everything a Wisconsin fan could hope for. Not much else to take away.
