Disallusioned with X under Elon and MAGA and needed a platform more to my values. I'm a retired white male in Australia who is into clean energy, EVs, the environment, and deeply concerned with climate change. Interests are STEM, nature's animals and cats.

That is an incredible image and what must have been a painstakingly long time to produce. However, from how I normally see the Orion constellation without visual aids, I cannot even recognise the stars and features. Is the bright yellow/orange star Betelguese?

I'm not even against Australia developing a pathway to nuclear energy, perhaps when SMRs and/or Thorium Salt reactors become more viable.

All these factors as to why nuclear power stations are not a good solution for Australia should have been well known by both parties. But Dutton wants to extend the use of fossil fuels for as long as possible in the transition to keep his corporate fossil donors happy.

Dick Smith is growing old and tired. There are many other forms of renewable energy storage solutions, other that Lithium batteries, like Zinc Bromine batteries developed in Australia. Also, lithium storage batteries are often recycled EV batteries.

It seems to be a thing in Ozland too Gavin. At least with an EV you can quickly overtake and get in front. But I know these people tend to be road ragers

You're an idiot. Were those panels deliberately set on fire because that almost never happens? You've forgotten that the highly inflammable petrol, diesel and LNG also emits noxious gases and is far more like to happen.

FFS, when is Elon going to realise that the pool of skilled immigrant workers are eventually going to say Fcuk off to the USA and instead go to other countries that will appreciate them more and take better care of them. Skilled workers are needed everywhere.
