Sometimes I wonder what the internet could have been without late-stage capitalism manipulating everything we were fed in pursuit of clicks, views, and attention. Yes, the internet today indulges the absolute worst of human nature but that wasn’t by accident. It was for profit.

I don’t know exactly how many schools are IB but I know in my region, only one high school was an IB school when I graduated in 2005. I’m in California and I can only imagine these are harder to find in red states. Not sure where you’re based, but just a little more context.

I was an IB student briefly. This program is no joke and it is a major accomplishment for a young person to not only get into but complete the IB program. You should be beyond proud that you have not just one but two kids who are IB students, not worrying if the program will even exist for them.
