In today's terrible travel news, Delta Airlines is using AI to give you flight prices based on the maximum they think you personally will pay. They plan to do away with static pricing entirely. So, what do we do?
Delta Airlines Is Using AI for Dynamic Pricing. What Would Consumer Protections Actually Look Like?
Spoiler alert: It's not an AI problem, it's a data privacy problem.

Rep. Steven Horsford to Greer: "So the trade representative hasn't spoken to the POTUS about a global reordering of trade, but yet he announced it on a tweet? WTF! Who is in charge? It looks like your boss just pulled the rug out from under you. There is no strategy ... is this market manipulation?"

You will never convince me this country does not hate children, or that it does not hate mothers.

Going after Ms. Rachel for clearly stating that she advocates for ALL children, that EVERY child has a right to safety. To not feel fear. The woman who has provided hours upon hours of high-quality 1/

I don’t want to hear about how you’re “pro-life” if you don’t fucking vaccinate your kids. “Pro-life” doesn’t end at birth.

I was so repulsed every time I opened Twitter (which wasn’t often over the last six or so years) that I have the same mental block when it comes to checking Bluesky. But every time I do, I’m quite pleasantly surprised. I gotta remember to come here more.

As a former IB student and a mother, I am livid they are going after IB. Don’t get me wrong, I’m livid over everything going on, but this one hits really close to home.
Fucking FLORIDA on their bullshit again. This evening I got this email regarding my son’s IB program.

I have a SECOND child going into the same program next year. And they are now trying to GUT the funding.

😒

Cory Booker just gave the longest speech in the history of Congress and concluded by apologizing to everyone who had to stay up all night keeping the chamber open and operating.

Is this all we can expect from the party? Even now, the ENTIRE game plan is to just try to rage bait?

Fuck Chuck.
You’re watching the Super Bowl next week.

Wait till Trump’s tariffs raise your pizza prices.

Employment discrimination cases will be off the charts. We’ve seen this before. Many employers will interpret recent declarations incorrectly. State & federal protections still abound and can’t be undone like that. No matter where you are, I can either help you or find a lawyer who can. Just fyi.

Has it hit yet? Who’s the Instagram crowd, the Never Meta, the ones not going back to TikTok, and those buying in for “nostalgia”? When you wonder how people just went along in history—stop wondering. You’re living it. This is how it happens, and now you know.

Keep encouraging people to leave Meta

The way the Chinese social media app treated the sudden influx of Tiktok refugees versus the way the American social media app treated the sudden influx of TikTok refugees should be studied.

If there is any chance of an actual Meta resistance/boycott, we have to start doing the work now to build community and resources off of FB/IG. We have to actually build alternatives so the average person is less dependent on Meta overall.

Hey guys, we lost TikTok, can’t afford healthcare, claims denied left and right for what little healthcare we have, can’t afford housing, cant find jobs after 1000s of applications, can’t afford groceries, but the Dems made a joke about the inauguration for an election they lost so it’s not all bad.

Every now and then, I liked to check on BlueAnon TikTok to see if they still believed there was some grand plan just waiting to be unveiled on Inauguration Day. Kinda curious if they’re still hanging on, kinda bummed I can’t snoop. Delusion & conspiracy theories aren’t just the other side’s problem.

I’m sure at some point, I’ll get back to focusing on travel. But I can’t summon enough cognitive dissonance today. I’m sad, mad, and feeling powerless, too, fellow TikTok refugees.
