Tech people with no idea about #l10n will actually put two simple, context-agnostic sentences in English on DeepL/LLMs, get them translated into German, and then ask why we can't do the same for 10k words of highly context-dependent keys into Khmer.

If you are a salesperson at an AI wrapper startup: I beg you, please stop contacting my middle managers. I have had to evaluate 4 different SUPERCHARGED AI solutions this year and for most cases where LLMs are actually usable, OpenAI, Claude or Gemini already do the trick.
