So many Oscars thoughts, especially about the Best Actress upset. I still think a Demi win would have been amazing and cooler from an overarching awards narrative perspective. What she did in “The Substance” was more than deserving.

I’m still giggling about the pitch perfect specificity of every mid-sketch ad read that has ever been in SNL’s “Black Jeopardy” because (without fail) they are all things that existed in my (very white) southern grandma’s house.

There was a show on Nickeloden called Angry Beavers and there was a beaver who was paying homage to Barry White. He even performed a solo.

We need a version of thesaurus dot com for figuring out what word to use when the word you thought you wanted to use sounds correct but actually means something so different that even antonyms aren’t useful.
