But in reality, buildings marketed as net zero still produce emissions. Certifications often improve design﹣and that’s worth celebrating ﹣but they don’t mean buildings are emission-free.

Jared Diamond literally wrote the book about #collapse, back in 2005.

Today, he's saying "there's a 49% chance the world (as we know it) will end in just 25 years.

"The chances are about 49% that the world as we know it will collapse by about 2050."

This just re: "alarmism"...

Red line graph time series of monthly carbon dioxide abundance from January 1959 through June 2025. There is a seasonal cycle and long-term increasing trend. Current levels of CO2 are at 430 ppm. This is the Keeling Curve graph. A line for CO2 10 years ago is also annotated.
