What are the “lavish fish studies” the U.S. government is supposedly wasting dollars on? Maybe doge thinks that people are bedazzling fish? Or maybe it’s the critical efforts by USFWS and USGS to monitor invasive and endangered species in communities we all rely on? Any insight @altfws.altgov.info ?

1) Lavish fish monitoring: I appreciate the image several of you have posted about bedazzled fish. We wish! Our fisheries program is so understaffed, our biologist’s idea of lavish is a lunch break.
