Well, it's up. New lights, tree was bought last year after Christmas, and the skirt was my grandma's.
I do a star theme and it's hilarious how many star ornaments I have... but now we love Star Trek so much and I have a lot of those ornaments. It's still star-themed lol

Does anyone else's mom buy things they like but then give it to you to repaint it?
This happens at least 1x a year with my mom. On the left, the original ornament. It's cute, but she wanted it to have a red nose.
To the right, my 1 min red acrylic paint fix. She'll be unbelievably proud of this.

It will keep happening until the United States provides Medicare for EVERY citizen, so the citizens can access the physical and mental healthcare they NEED.

I present to you... The Most Abused Dog in Central Arkansas. I had the AUDACITY to wash the throw pillow covers yesterday, which meant the naked pillows were put out of her snuggle reach on the couch. Once they were put back together, she stole two and took an intense stress nap.

This is Miss Moosie. The animal shelter needed fosters to help with overcrowding, to prevent having to put someone down. So we volunteered to host Moosie!

I washed the pillow covers and throw blankets last night. This morning, I tossed them in the dryer. The pillow inserts were Lysol-ed and put in the office to keep critters off them until the covers were back on 'em.
