もちろんボールドウィンは反論する。多くのアメリカ人は黒人差別の構造そのものを認めていない。それが多くの黒人を暴力と死に追いやっているのだと。しかし、白人の学者はぜんぜん理解できない。

これは、人種差別の問題、植民地主義の問題、南北問題、そうした諸問題の縮図だ。理解するのに痛みを伴う問題は、「意図的な無知」のまま放置されてしまう。

だから異議申し立てが、社会運動が必要になるのだ。

アメリカ合衆国は、911後の対テロ戦争の終結を宣言し、世界を通常モードに戻して欲しい。イスラエルを支援している限り難しいのですが。

Fascist commentators and neo-nazis picked up on the posts and began to spread them on X.

What happened next is very funny:

Bluesky immediately caved to the fascist pushback and used the article from the Federalist as a list to decide who to ban.
