Today was supposed to be my PhD defense. Due to a massive unprecedented power outage in Portugal, Spain and other parts of Europe, it got postponed. Now that I got over the initial frustration, I’m thinking about hospital operations and people trapped in elevators…

PhD defense on Monday… and my postdoc lab got me this card today 🥰. It’s almost like they really want me to get my degree and to join officially 🥹. Looking forward to sciencing together and to all the experiences to come. Thank you @laurenatlas.bsky.social and all!
