Some of you point out that the big players have used various tricks to keep their own $ safe. True.

That's why we need to think about how to prosecute them for fraud.

Those bubble-inflating claims - AI will cure all disease! end climate change! double lifespans! - are essentially Theranos X 1000.
The AI bubble may be about to bust.

Peter Thiel has sold all of his Nvidia stock.

We all need to say this very clearly:

NO BAILOUTS FOR THEFT-TECH!

Expropriate their asses instead.

They stole from all of us and fully plan to burn the planet.

They owe us - not the other way around. 1/3

Absolute must read on the AI bailout-in-progress: apparently it's not enough that lifetimes of human ingenuity and creativity have been stolen and enclosed to create generative AI and balloon billionaire wealth - much more public looting is in store...
This week Open AI walked back a call for the govt to backstop financing for its trillion dollar investments in data centers. This was only the tip of the iceberg; a slow bailout for AI firms is already underway. Read more from @ambakak.bsky.social and I in @wsj.com: www.wsj.com/opinion/you-...

If it wasn’t already clear the direction AI policy was going under Mark Carney and Evan Solomon, this task force makes it clear.

The inclusion of the chair of Build Canada, whose members openly pushed for a Canadian DOGE and Poilievre government earlier this year, is just one of many examples.

Still too soon to say how it plays out, but at this moment there's a case to be made that Big Tech and GOP leaders overplayed their hand on the AI moratorium. The boldness of the 10-year ban mobilized a big and angry coalition against it, where a more modest proposal might just have slipped through.
In a stunning reversal, the Senate voted 99-1 this morning to strip from Trump's big bill a 10-year moratorium on state-level AI regulations.
