I think there are lot of well-meaning non-trans people who think gender-affirming care is a luxury or aspirational thing, like dental veneers or nose jobs. "Sure, it'd be nice if trans folks had this care but they don't need it, do they?"

Yes. It's literally lifesaving. It's suicide prevention.

I acutally looked at the books that Sam Alito thinks are pro-gay propaganda designed to "indoctrinate" children. I've read my kids a million stories like these. There's nothing objectionable about them, unless you find the *existence* of LGBTQ people objectionable ballsandstrikes.org/scotus/mahmo...
Let’s Take a Look at the Children’s Books Sam Alito Is So Afraid Of
Stories like "Uncle Bobby's Wedding" are only objectionable if you find the very existence of LGBTQ people to be objectionable.

After American airspace was closed on 9/11, over 230 flights with 30,000 passengers and crew were diverted to Canadian airports. Transport Canada received thousands of calls from members of the public offering to help the stranded passengers.

Thinking about that today, for no particular reason.

Trans servicemember says 'we will do the best we can" amid Trump proposed military ban
NPR's Scott Detrow speaks with Col. Bree Fram, an openly transgender member of the U.S. Space Force, about President Trump's calls to remove transgender service members from the military.

I am trying to work out how we can more effectively use our town squares (#8 on this list).

“Do not shy away from difficult conversations; seek them out. Engage the curious. Educate those who seek information. We all have a role to play, so don’t assume your voice is too faint…”

So when all was said and done, the only country that opened it's prisons and sent crazy murderous criminals to prey upon innocent American citizens, was us.

Heartbroken. Disgusted. In disbelief. How can this be America?
Sergeant Gonell @sergeantaqgo.bsky.social sent me this picture. This is his call log. Each call is an automated Dept of "Justice" notification saying "The defendant you testified against is being released from the dept of corrections."
Each defendant assaulted him.

Oligarchy (noun): A government of and by a few at the top, who exercise power for their own benefit. Their power and wealth increase as they make laws that favor themselves, manipulate financial markets, and create monopolies that put more wealth into their pockets.
