First day of freshers' week.
The day went really well: lots of good conversations, and they are so with it! Biggest cohort in years.

Really looking forward to the year, but totally shattered at the moment. I have to get used to so many people again!

Alas, today's rainy evening does not offer quite such a good picture....

I love both, but they are in short supply at home.
Will some flamingos do for now?
Five flamingos (Mediterranean ones - white feathers on top, with deep pink feathers showing underneath) standing in rippled water. Flock of flamingos standing in rippled water, one about to fly off, spreading its dark pink wings with black tips. Two glamingos in flight, pink and black wings spread out, long necks and legs stretched out. About 15 Flamingos standing in calm water, each mirrorred by its reflection - more further in the background.
