I said my main goal of this trip was to meet with Kilmar. Tonight I had that chance. I have called his wife, Jennifer, to pass along his message of love. I look forward to providing a full update upon my return.

Poilievre gives me the creeps. He's that scary guy at the bar sweet talking you while slipping a roofie in your drink.

No, MLI, if the Governor General had refused the legitimate advice from a prime minister who has just tested the confidence of the Chamber to prorogue, we would have had a fucking constitutional crisis.

Still working on some stuff, but so far my plans for 2025 include writing a lot, reading a lot, fighting fascism, and eating more tacos.

I am visiting winter gardens in England this week. Today was RHS Anglesey Abbey. They have a three mile Winter Walk that is just stunning. Canadian gardens could be 4 season gardens too with a little planning.

There’s something extraordinary about this otherwise pretty standard Late Bronze Age axehead:

A human fingerprint. A real, visible and tangible connection to someone from 3000 years ago. If that doesn’t give you goosebumps, idk what will. 🥹
