Dear Dev Diary, hi, it's Mariah! Stay tuned for updates on my life during this period of unemployment. I'm talking tech projects, Leetcode, job applications and (probably) tears. At the very least, it will be entertaining 👩‍💻

The thing I am struggling with the most right now is finding time to 1) do as much LeetCode as I can and 2) work on my personal project. Because I have had a couple interviews over the last couple of weeks I have spent most of my coding time on LeetCode.

I have finished archiving my X posts and the account is deleted 👋
I've been a bit behind because of the holidays but I am back!

Today jumped back into LeetCode today with Remove Duplicates from Sorted Array and Remove Duplicates from Sorted Array II

Today's learning: instead of spending my time on a React Native crash course, I am going to dive into my app. Getting my hands dirty and trying things feels like the best option for me. Started off today by jotting down some quick user stories and wireframes!

This LeetCode problem was much easier after all of the Binary Tree practice I've been doing 👏

Continuing my daily LeetCode practice, I worked on problem #108. Convert Sorted Array to Binary Search Tree. For some reason this one really threw me off, specifically with the L & R pointers. But after whiteboarding through the solution/call stack I got it!

The first time I learned binary trees & recursion while studying at Ada Developers Academy it took FOREVER to understand. Now, I'm a little leetcode rusty, but this in-order tree traversal problem took me only ONE HOUR to understand and execute myself! 🥲🙌🎉💻

I attempted #Leetcode 88: Merge Sorted Array, which is a little complicated in Python 🙃 But I learned a really great solution via YouTube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-Ku...

If you're here from X, hello! 👋 my BlueSky is not up to date but I will try to archive all of the posts I made on X over here so that folks following me know what I've been up to since the very beginning. Talk soon!
