I close my first home purchase in a week. I am excited and nervous and stressed and I never want to go through this process ever again and I cannot wait to start painting and decorating but also why the hell did I do this during the holidays.

I saw someone call Ai a Thneed and I can't stop thinking about it. It's a PERFECT analogy. The Thneed was an all-purpose tool that didn't do anything really useful. It was a fad that did major damage to the environment to make the Onceler a billionare. It left no real lasting impact, only damage.

It is possible I’m overreacting and the hypochondriac genetic tendencies are just jumping out because of stress and the for sure undiagnosed anxiety disorder BUT fam I am dying. I’m not. Probably. Hopefully. But hoo buddy what bad timing in my life for this feeling to happen.
