Yesterday, while cold, was really sunny and, if in the Lee of a building, the sun could be felt. Sadly this photo is out of date as we have returned to steady grey with continuous flurries.

The sun is out so, despite the biting wind and frigid temperatures, it cheers me. Also, it is not snowing. Spent the afternoon clearing out "stuff" and now have NO books on the floor. Temporary I am sure.

Balmy today at -3° and the sun may appear! Offspring returned from Fla., last night so a week of taking turns grandcat sitting is at an end. I can now resume my usual pattern of knitting at home!
