Did our part by installing solar panels on our Florida beach cottage. Generating enough power to cool most days, even in the summer heat.

My local Kiwanis Club in Springfield, TN spearheaded a skatepark project. Took a lot of arm twisting but we got the city on board and now it’s anchoring a great downtown park. And bonus, it’s bringing in out of town visitors!!!

There is a serious lack of accountability with OHS. Folks in closed encampments are only being offered temporary shelter with no real hope of permanent housing in a reasonable timeframe. How many of the Hermitage camp’s folks are still at Rodeway after over a year?

And who doesn’t equate quality dining with Kid Rock, right? 🫤

The DMV staff inside were kind, appropriate and efficient, but they shouldn’t have to deal with these conditions either.

Honestly, the folks in that line, which was wrapped around the building before it opened, have a right to be angry at the situation. They did not deserve to be addressed in the threatening and disrespectful manner used by the officer.

I’m a ‘57 model who never had measles, mumps or chickenpox as a child. I caught chickenpox as an adult from my son’s preschool classmate. Had a really bad case…lucky not to have complications. Then gave it to both sons, 5 and 2. Best believe I got all the shots after that…inxlueing shingles.

We’re doing chili dogs too!! Did our dinner out last night to beat the crowds 🥰
