My local Kiwanis Club in Springfield, TN spearheaded a skatepark project. Took a lot of arm twisting but we got the city on board and now it’s anchoring a great downtown park. And bonus, it’s bringing in out of town visitors!!!

As our TN leadership brags about its “fiscal responsibility”, here’s what a typical drivers service center looks like at 9 am. It’s not responsible if you’re not providing basic services in an effective manner. Oh, & the state police officer screaming at everyone in line added lots to the ambiance.

That makes me want to make a batch of green chile stew…in-laws used to live in Albuquerque and I became a fan.
The old gas chamber at the CO State Pen is a must see…and our meal at the Hotel St. Cloud’s 1887 Historic Eatery was outstanding.
