Def out of touch. I live in N GA/kinda metro ATL. Pop 120K-ish. 1 hour from Hartsfield. There’s literally not a store in this town that sells nice pants for my 12 YO son. Jeans, sure— but next closest is khaki colored fishing pants.

You’re the kind of teacher my 6th grader would appreciate— as he says, “sometimes I’m the bug, sometimes I’m the car”. Teachers who understand are a treasure.

I was one of those people yesterday. Today I’m leaning toward either Governor or Prez. Gov is maybe—she won’t have to defend Trump like in Congress, but she’d have to work w/ him or risk his retribution on the whole state. So it’s more likely she’ll try to build a media empire now & run in 2028.

I don’t think she’ll wait that long. Georgia has 2 major races next year and the filing deadlines haven’t passed yet. I really, really think she’s gonna try and split the baby in one primary or the other to get the Reaganite Polite GOP votes and the America First MAGA votes.

I hope Atlanta took notes. Apparently they’re all over this week.

They’re also moving heavy into Atlanta and the Metro area.

My only complaint about @timmiller.bsky.social is that after listening to an episode he mentioned Candace Owens in, I am now getting her posts in my algorithm and get to see her crazy for myself. 🤣

Governor or Senate. I’m tellin’ you. My money is on Governor. That primary has got all the people she hates.

Any statewide Georgia race on the Republican ticket is MAGA vs Polite Christian Reaganite. We have both here. I really think she’s hoping she can split the baby.

2 options:
Governor. She thinks Raffensberger is a traitor for standing up to Trump, while Burt Jones is too close to Trump & has stupid policies, Chris Carr is a decent fundraiser but weak as hell… She knows she has a decent chance.
Or Senate— Buddy Carter just lost any Atlanta votes w/ his letter.

How I wish any Dem had stood up today and said, “sorry, I can’t vote for this ‘socialism is bad’ thing because I don’t want to be on the wrong side of Donald Trump who is doing the socialism.”

His only real ideology is greed.
