“These men risked their lives to speak with us. We have a moral and professional obligation to the sources who entrusted us with their
stories. Abandoning them now is a betrayal of the most basic tenet of journalism: giving voice to the voiceless.”

The CBS reporter who led the story calls pulling it a "political" decision.
"The decision was made after Bari Weiss, the new editor in chief of CBS News, requested numerous changes to the segment."

Why delete the promo???

I didn’t realize that Epstein trafficked and grown ass men—whose faces are now covered with black boxes.
WELKER: The WH has said Trump is in the files. Can you guarantee every mention & photo of him in the Epstein files will be released?

BLANCHE: Yes. But let me make sure everybody understands: to the extent that he is 'in the files,' it's not bc he had anything to do with horrific crimes. Full stop.

There is no basis to withhold these images under the clear terms of the Epstein Files Transparency Act. None.
WOW: The DOJ has DELETED an image from its release of the Epstein files that shows photos of Trump in a drawer.

Yesterday, we noted that this image — file 468 — likely slipped through the cracks while officials were attempting to hide materials pertaining to Trump.

Now, it’s gone.

Oops. Guess they ran out of black ink.
BREAKING:

At least 16 files disappeared from the Justice Department’s public webpage for documents related to Jeffrey Epstein — including a photograph showing Trump — less than a day after they were posted, with no explanation from the government and no notice to the public.

Not according to Susie Wiles. Weird.
Just tried to search for Trump’s name in the Epstein files library on the DOJ’s website. You’ll be *shocked* to learn that there’s no mention of him whatsoever!

Kudos to Mitt Romney, whom we exposed for his "47 Percent" comments, for coming to the conclusion that "we have reached a point where any mix of solutions to our nation’s economic problems is going to involve the wealthiest Americans contributing more."

* Number of federal government job losses: 271,000. 🤡
Trump: "The only reason our unemployment tucked up and went up to 4.5 percent [it's actually 4.6 percent] is because we are reducing the government workforce by numbers that have never been seen before."

Trump: "It's not only land strikes on Venezuela. It's land strikes on horrible people that are bringing in drugs and killing our people. If we were in a war and we lost 300,000 in a year -- that's what the real number is ... it would be a war that's unparalleled."

When my 44 YO husband had a stroke, we called 9-1-1 & ambulance took him to the *nearest* hospital. Then I had to fight my insurance company for a ‘network gap exception’ to pay bc the ambulance company wasn’t in-network, & insurance couldn’t provide a list of in-network neurologists they’d pay for.

- Confirms @404media.co's reports of use of DHS's facial recognition app.
