When YouTubers try to play both sides for risk of alienating their audience it’s really a huge turn off. I understand it but I don’t respect it.

This isn’t to say we shouldn’t have anything, but that whatever tort we do have should be designed from scratch, focusing on the bigger issues of, eg, bullying and harassment rather than some Victorian ideal of reputation and honour.

Of course not, being abused has negative consequences. Depp brought the lawsuit. Amber didn’t want to be there. She never detailed his abuse or even alluded to sexual abuse until she was forced to testify under oath when Depp sued her for $100M.
