Because it's a shitty period and doing stuff with my hands helps to relax (a bit), I might have gone a tad overboard with the props for the next #TTRPG session (taking place in the wing of a great library, stuck in a magical time bubble) 😅
4 papercraft bookcases at 28mm scale a dungeon battlemat for 28mm scale tabletop roleplay. Several floating pieces of floor are placed on the battlemap, supported by clear acrylic stands several tiny books (2cmx1cm) made out of paper and foam core. the books can be opened and have clues on the inside pertaining to a TTRPG adventure set in a library

Session 2 of our #TTRPG Campaign ("Valour and Profit") happened last night. The party investigated the village (getting sidetracked multiple times) then tracked the goblins, saved the kids... and somehow ended up with a shard of a forgotten god lodged close to their hearts... 😬❤️

In the first adventure, my #TTRPG table fought a group of goblins. Now their friends are seeking revenge, so I dug up some MESBG minis I got in... 2003-ish (through a De Agostini by-post subscription or something) and got them ready for a fight!

Needed a bridge for the "boss fight" of the next #TTRPG session so I built one out of cardboard and foam core. The top is printed (to have the correct squares) while the sides are done with markers. The best was engineering it to fit perfectly on the spiral-binding of the A4 Loke book 🥸

It's not particularly pretty or special in any way, but it's the first time I go beyond the most basic sketch and no one will see it IRL so I felt like sharing 😅

The usual Summer slump at the club means I am not getting feedback on Starfall Valley rules-wise (my fan-made supplement to play a #Mordheim -esque fantasy skirmish game using the #TrenchCrusade rules engine) so instead I am writing fluff text for every unit in the game 😅

Rat Warlocks are the eccentric minds of the Furmalin warbands. They are equal parts wizard and tinkerer, as well as a hazard to public safety. Their understanding of magic is matched only by their reckless enthusiasm for creating 'improvements' that tend to catch fire, spark and explode unpredictably. Outside of battle, they can be found in the Farnest, huddled over cluttered workbenches covered in strange contraptions and bubbling alchemical brews, crafting the next batch of 'perfectly safe' equipment for their comrades. On the battlefield, their spells and gadgets keep enemies off balance and their allies slightly concerned. The Brethren are the Cult of Mutation's common faithful: humans and Fae who have forsaken their old lives to seek the blessings of the Valley. Though their bodies remain largely untouched for now, they dream of the day the New Gods will mark them with sacred mutations. Fiercely loyal and eager to prove their worth, they make up the bulk of the Cult’s warbands, fighting with crude weapons and boundless zeal.
