I work in industrial real estate with a focus on data centres, manufacturing, and logistics. Brit father in Bangkok, with too many hobbies, fishing, photography, gaming, D&D, Formula 1, good whiskey and belly laughs with great company. Happily married.
Looks like the sunbirds have just about finished working on their nest. Very considerate neighbours, they conveniently located the nest just outside the window from our dining room.

Took this photo several years ago in Chicago. Internet cookies and bragging rights to those who can guess where? #photography

My tomato plants are coming along nicely. Grown from seed in my raised beds, the tallest about 30cms tall now. I botched together a trellis out of some spare timber and garden twine I had lying around. I then covered it all with a fine mesh net to keep out birds and pests. #gardening

Whilst the world turns mad, I find solace in my garden. Today we had some Mulberries. But sometime soon I hope to see some strawberries in my new container

That was scary. I was in the lift on the ground floor about to back to our office on the 31st when the lift car shook and I had to hold on to the side. I thought I was feeling faint. Then, panic, everyone ran screaming out of the building. Saw one young lady who had fainted being carried out

Growing plants from seeds is very satisfying, here the first begonia has sprouted in the seed tray, and my tomatoes have begun to grow too. #gardening

The next time you see a spider in the house, spare a thought for the family in Wang Nam Kiew, Thailand who found an 11 foot long King Cobra in their bathroom on Tuesday!

To be fair most of it comes from our neighbours, Thailand isnt without blame of course, but take a look at the past 24 hrs on FIRMS

Cambodia has a lot to answer for. But there's clearly a lot in Thailand too. I think this all comes downs to money, again. There is an urgent need for an organisation to provide / lease harvesting machinery to farmers in this region so that the farmers have a viable alternative to burning

Bangkok’s air pollution has been awful this year, these shots were taken a few minutes ago from my office

The air pollution in Bangkok is awful, so especially grateful for my car’s clean zone feature on days like these
