I work in industrial real estate with a focus on data centres, manufacturing, and logistics. Brit father in Bangkok, with too many hobbies, fishing, photography, gaming, D&D, Formula 1, good whiskey and belly laughs with great company. Happily married.
Russian drones in NATO are clear provocations.

But why would they try to draw an even more powerful foe into battle when they are clearly struggling with Ukraine?

Face.

They’d rather say they lost to NATO.

So, a conflict with NATO could actually be their golden bridge.

I’m not the biggest fan of Trump, I felt that a lot of what he said last night at the UN was based on falsehoods and bad science. He is to diplomacy what a bull is to a china shop.

But, credit where credit is due, I applaud his new stance on supporting NATO and Ukraine.

The problem in our societies today, isn't the politcal left, or the right. It isn't gender, race or religion. It is extremism. Violence is never the answer.

Did you know that the bombs dropped on the Iran (MOPs) each cost almost as much as a fighterplane? Approximately 25-30M$, each. They dropped 12 on Fordow and 2 on Natanz. Plus 30 tomahawks were launched at a cost of about 2 million $ each. Plus the logistical cost of delivering them on target. DOGE?

Oh dear, it looks like he's actually going to do it
BREAKING: The White House sent emails (seen below) to multiple influencers and Republican politicians to provide them with talking points to justify US intervention in Iran.

They are trying to brainwash us and rationalize war.

Never thought I’d live to see America become what it has today. From a shining example of democracy and freedom, to this:

Looks like the sunbirds have just about finished working on their nest. Very considerate neighbours, they conveniently located the nest just outside the window from our dining room.

Another excellent #economics video from one of my favourite photography channels. It's so important to hear real stories from manufacturers and importers right now.

Americans will be facing be tough times in the weeks and months ahead.

My tomato plants are coming along nicely. Grown from seed in my raised beds, the tallest about 30cms tall now. I botched together a trellis out of some spare timber and garden twine I had lying around. I then covered it all with a fine mesh net to keep out birds and pests. #gardening

Who pays tariffs? In this case a US SME manufacturer does. Lee Morris explains how tariffs on Chinese-made photography gear and packaging hits his business directly. A clear, real-world example of how policy shapes pricing and competitiveness. Worth a watch. 🎥 youtu.be/jCS-LS4LUXk

I asked ChatGPT's new Monday feature whether Trump is as bad I fear. It gave a long winded answer but tits conclusion made me chuckle --- Bottom line? You’re just alive in a timeline that reads like a parody script rejected by Black Mirror for being “a little much.”

That was scary. I was in the lift on the ground floor about to back to our office on the 31st when the lift car shook and I had to hold on to the side. I thought I was feeling faint. Then, panic, everyone ran screaming out of the building. Saw one young lady who had fainted being carried out
