Just as Hitler refused to accept defeat and surrender, unnecessarily prolonging the war he started and the suffering of German civilians, Hamas does the same by refusing to surrender in the war it started, thus prolonging the suffering of the people of Gaza.

Have you seen any negative reporting on Al Jazeera against Hamas, or have you seen desperate Gazan civilians denouncing Hamas’s abuses and crimes on that same media channel? Or have you seen criticism on AJ of Hamas’s irresponsible decision to start a war and to do so by carrying out a massacre?

You have to be a very foolish person to believe that Hamas allows journalists to report on Hamas' own crimes and abuses against the people of Gaza, or allows journalists to report information that differs from the group's version of events.

Hamas systematically uses hospitals and schools as bases for military operations and receives little or no criticism from Palestinian activists for this criminal practice.
