Cottonwood Falls, Kansas, sounds like it's just down the road from Mayberry. But its jail is a profitable point in the county because "under a contract with ICE, the jail is filled mostly with foreign nationals from Mexico and Central and South America." kansasreflector.com/2025/05/04/a...

It’s ironic that the politicians most likely to purposefully present as tough guys are scared to death of things like peaceful immigrants and nuns. Knowing this particular nun, he should be scared, because she’s a force. But still, Thompson’s a coward. #ksleg
