There’s an over exaggerated push for sunscreen. If you don’t have prolonged exposure and you build your tan responsibly you should be fine. 30min in the morning, mid day and late afternoon should build a nice base for natural sun exposure.

No transcodes. Import Sony files into FCP. Edit. When done use the Sony Toolbox to convert your timeline to the right TC. Import that into Resolve. Ta-Da!

Oh for Sony timecode problems use CommandPost and its Sony Toolbox. It fixes the FCPXML to read the right TC.
