Xbox's choice to sideline their first-party handheld isn't the end of the world, but it devalues their Play Anywhere focus to some degree.

Oblivion Remastered is straight up comfort food. Is it old and creaky in some ways? Sure. But man, this game still feels so vast and layered all these years later.

Just finished my replay of Firewatch. In terms of "short narrative-led experiences," this is one of the best of all-time. What a video game.

I bought Assassin's Creed Shadows.
Adjusting to Shadows after playing Ghost of Tsushima wasn't easy, but I'm finally starting to find my rhythm. So far, it's been very enjoyable and beautiful to look at. But, the combat mechanics aren't at the quality I hoped for. Still fun.

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition was one of my most anticipated games of 2025.

I bought the 4k Blu-ray of 2001: A Space Odyssey and watched it for the very first time.
It's one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had in front of a TV.

i no longer believe Death Stranding was a Hideo Kojima “prediction.” It was “protection.”
