Happy #CoastGuardDay! The #CoastGuard was founded OTD in 1790 by Sec. of State Alexander Hamilton and today protects 100,000 miles of coastline & waterways. The Mid-Atlantic is home to District 1 (northern NJ-New England) and D-5 (NJ to Carolinas).

#CoastGuard D-1 has proposed a series of modifications to its aids to navigation meant to modernize the constellation of coastal buoys in New England and northern portions of the Mid-Atlantic. Analyze them on the Portal and submit your comments by 6/13.
