If that motor is the same size as the one I've seen used in DCC Sound conversions of those Life-Like SW mechanisms, then it should be fine to haul. I'm willing to bet that it's just a reference to the actual Budd warranty. Either that or the drive shaft is just... way under spec.

I'll echo what others have said, labeling it with the appropriate rating and tagging it with relevant tags is the best way. It's someone constantly uploading the same kind(s) of unlabeled and/or untagged content I don't like that would make me unfollow them.

One thing I would really like to avoid is having to dual boot or run vms to run certain apps like a model railroad Cad program I use that I know does not have Linux support but I am not confident a Linux equivalent exists.

Really spoiled for choice. I don't know where to start looking, just that I know that I'm looking for "I want to have as close to same day-to-day user experience and as much support for the variety of apps I use as I do now." idk, most explanations on Linux distros I saw don't really go over that
