I did take a short demo video showing off the conversion. My model of 8236 started out as Life-Like CPR GP9u 8230, and renumbered to 8236 to represent a GP9u that operated on the E&N at one point or another.

I did take a short demo video showing off the conversion. My model of 8236 started out as Life-Like CPR GP9u 8230, and renumbered to 8236 to represent a GP9u that operated on the E&N at one point or another.
Here is a short clip of it running, you can just make out it's prime mover sounds. I've installed new LEDs and made provisions to potentially install ditch lights later on. Also note the winterization hatch, which most GP9u's had IRL but is not present on the stock model.
