There are safe ways for kids to engage with these technologies. But these technologies are also in no way a babysitter. It's like television in that way. Kids need guidance and structure, that can include online time so long as the parents/guardians are aware and engaged.

I thought I had to be serious to get anywhere. Why be serious when ludicrous is so much more interesting. Does art need to have meaning? Must we be angry all of the time? I once did a series on drinking. A professor was incensed. I think he thought it too optimistic.
