I thought I had to be serious to get anywhere. Why be serious when ludicrous is so much more interesting. Does art need to have meaning? Must we be angry all of the time? I once did a series on drinking. A professor was incensed. I think he thought it too optimistic.

If they wanted ten minutes we'd give them fifteen. That was our policy. Always leave them wanting less.

It's nigh-on time for a reinvention. Sometimes I miss the drug fueled parties of the 80s. Mostly for the crazy conversations and sense of being part of a large creative community. A lot of things sucked so bad but there was always something in common with others to connect about. That's what I want

Every so often I think of a friend who lives with his partner. Found out they'd been living together for over 8 years at the time. Friends were shocked and asked him why not marry? Turns out he proposes on the regular but she turns him down saying now why would I want to do that🤣🤣🤣
