Definitely an old expression. I converted when I was 25 & have now been Catholic for 45 years. My husband (a former seminarian) & I belong to a Black Catholic church that is very diverse & very focused on social justice. It’s a place full of joy, love, & caring for people in & outside our church.

Now I have to watch it again! Watched the Blues Brothers movie on a plane recently—as funny as I remembered it. My seat mate was in hers 20s and knew about the movie. Maybe because she’s Canadian, and so many SNL folks (incl. Loren Michael’s) over the years have been from Canada?

I ran the Chicago Marathon in 2009 & have had family & friends run in more recent years. It’s an accomplishment that no one can take away from you. Praying for safety for everyone in Chicago. 🙏🏻 ❤️

Just when you think they can’t go any lower, they do. Our grandson is only 17 months old, but we’ve been reading Martin (Baby Edition) in My First Little People, Big Dreams series. Will continue these books as he grows.

Love the musical explanations! Our boys are in their mid-30s, and we would have loved to have had Google at that time. Can’t imagine the questions are grandson (now 17 months old) will be asking us in the future. 🤓
