Spotted this scene on a trip to Italy last fall. Asked our guide if this was a common sight. She replied that it depended which regime was in power. Hoped against hope that this would not become a common sight in the U.S. And here we are less than one year later. Hoping for the best in 2026.

Our son (now 37 years old) was 11 months old when ND last won their last National Championship. Now his son is 10 months old—good outcome is meant to be.

The three gentlemen in the middle of this photo have each been high school football officials for 50 years—my husband is one of them. It’s truly a vocation for them. They love helping young men and women learn life and sports skills. ❤️

When our son (now in his 30s) was in preschool, their teachers sent home each child’s wishes. We loved this! He ironically is now a vegetarian—not sure how that would work out now having his own McDonald’s. 😉
