Such a poignant compelling story. Truthful personal and important for us all. Thank you @josephbernstein
Michael Bernstein was a Nazi hunter — and was killed in the Lockerbie bombing. His son, Joseph, explores the question: What does it mean to seek justice for his death?

WTF!!! 3 Democrat representatives didn’t attend the vote! The Big Ugly Bill (BUB) passed in a knife-edge 215-214 vote. (Two Republicans vote no, one falls asleep). COULD WE HAVE STOPPED THIS???

We need weekday #handsoff protests. Did you see how little coverage on Sunday news! They don’t care on golf day…

Yes
I think these protests also need to happen on weekdays. Block roads, stop truck traffic, trains, etc and grind the economy to a halt. Weekend protests don't affect anybody per see.

At the Dollar store near me, there are usually 20+ folks in line with full carts. Not impulse shopping, it’s survival.
Where now?

Right! This matters. @booker.senate.gov makes a difference every single day!
Tik Tok paid attention.
An odd absence of reporting .. Just scrolled through both NYT and WaPo and only mention of Sen. Cory Booker's phenomenal plea for Americans to take a stand was one opinion piece by
Perry Bacon Jr. (He was for it.) What Booker articulated yesterday deserves attention.

This matters 👏👏👏
Tonight, Wisconsinites stood up and said loudly that justice does not have a price—our Courts are not for sale.

@vandehei.bsky.social Thank YOU on MSNBC today - ‘looks like a war plan.’ Hysterically funny, horrifically true! Please post the video if you can.

A reporter should ask Trump if we're having midterm elections next year so we can just get him to say "no" already.

Right now, elected Democrats are using the assumption that elections will proceed normally as a shield to avoid treating this as an emergency.

The Supreme Court might as well be Trump’s lawyers…
Chief Justice Roberts asking why just a few states should have the ability to decide who gets to be on the presidential ballot.

The US Supreme Court sure didn't mind that Mississippi with the Dobbs case decided on abortion rights through them for the entire country.

More thank kind of…
Listening to Supreme Court Judges carry water for & try to justify the twice-impeached, twice popular vote losing, 91x-indicted defeated former guy is kind of sickening...

It’s so hard to listen but harder to ignore…
Again, hilarious* that the same Supreme Court Justices who could squint hard enough to discover a nearly unlimited individual right to own weapons in the Second Amendment are now tying themselves in knots to ignore the clear meaning of the Fourteenth.

*infuriating
