Literally my major issue with USUM is how involved the story is. It’s trying so hard to be a fucking anime they didn’t leave any room for anything much once you’re done with it.

I saw what they did there, refugees and whatnot on the shoulder all being a microcosm of the bionis v. mechonis interpersonal struggles, ooooooh that's clever~
