I saw Stereolab in ~2009 in Wellington with my dad. I remember the place was nowhere near full but there were lots of recognisable faces there. It was the first time I saw a ‘proper’ band. In the sense that they were a finely tuned machine. And at ease. And just REALLY good. New album: listen.
