Played some Ranked Battles for the first time in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Not gonna lie, those multiplayer battles are actually a lot of fun! Chaotic, which is fitting for the battle system in this game.

DC X Sonic the Hedgehog! It was a really fun comic mini where the two worlds collide and the teams end up stuck in one another’s universe. So Sonic and friends literally take on the role of each Justice League member. It also set up a sequel, so we’ll probably get more stories!

This is pretty cool. The American Red Cross and Bandai Namco are giving socks and a Pac-Man Gashapon to those who donate blood between November 17th and December 7th.

Like I was saying the other day, Pokémon Go has suddenly got way more generous than at any point since I’ve been playing. Free storage space is now available in the in-game Shop through 11/30, so go get it!

As was the case when I played it back in August, I remain very bad at Kirby Air Riders. I did manage to pull out a nice first place, though!

I love that Pokémon Legends: Z-A is a direct sequel to Pokémon X and Y. We haven’t had a lot of true sequels in the franchise, so getting to revisit a location and see how the characters have changed in the years since is really nice. It kinda feels like going back to Kanto in Gold and Silver.

I love that my Breath of the Wild playtime shows where I stopped in 2017 when I got stuck, where I played a little bit in 2023 to reacquaint myself ahead of my preview for Tears of the Kingdom, and where I went back this year on Switch 2 before finally beating it this fall.

The new Nintendo Store app shows your play data going back to Wii U and 3DS! It’s cool if you want more info about how much time you played specific games, but it looks like it stopped working for the older systems a few years ago. None of my 2024 time with Animal Crossing: New Leaf shows up.

The character customization in Pokémon Legends: Z-A needs to be the standard going forward. When Gen 10 comes out, I don’t wanna hear “well, Kalos is big on fashion, but not this region.” No. This is one area where Pokémon Go always walloped the mainline games.

I’ve now read the first couple issues of Imperial, and this is a pretty strong Marvel cosmic story so far. It’s moving at a really fast clip too. There’s a real cinematic feel to it.

McDonald’s has a deal where you get a free Big Mac the day after a Bills game where there’s a sack on the opposing QB, and I have to believe they made that call before tariffs made beef prices prices soar. Reminds me of the Simpsons bit where Russia boycotted the Olympics.

Started playing Pikmin Bloom following the announcement of the free Pikmin 4 DLC. It’s cute so far, but since I’m new to it, I’m not sure if there’s more to the game than collecting Pikmin and outfits. It feels like a much more limited version of Pokémon Go at the moment.

Writers and artists aren’t super consistent about showing it, but canonically yeah, it’s covered by the top of the costume, which goes all the way back to the second issue of Amazing Spider-Man!
